This beautiful and stately townhome is one of five built by Savannah builder and developer, J.J. Hale in 1882.  The home is stucco over brick and has four levels.   Although the home has been updated over the years, many original features remain including original flooring, woodwork, trimwork, an multiple fireplaces (now decorative only).  The Main House and Carriage House are vacation rentals.  The Garden Apartment, located on the ground level, is a long-term rental with a permanent tenant.

This beautiful property is centrally located in Savannah's landmark historic district on East Gaston Street, less than half a block from Forsyth Park.  It is a short walk to many attractions, restaurants, squares, and shops in downtown Savannah, and about a 20-minute walk (or a short Uber ride) to the famous Riverfront. 

Stocked kitchen, high-speed Internet/WiFi, cable TV/streaming on the living room TVs, and streaming on bedroom TVs.  All linens are provided as well as a starter supply of TP, paper towels, trash bags, dish detergent, and basic toiletries.  A full-size washer/dryer is located on the upper level of the main house and also in the carriage house garage.  

The main house consists of the upper three levels of the townhouse and sleeps 10.  The main living level has a living room, formal dining room, kitchen, breakfast room with balcony, and half bath. The upper two levels have 4 large bedrooms, a bonus room, two full bathrooms, and a washer/dryer.

The Carriage House has a one-car garage with a washer/dryer on the lower level.  The upper level consists of a one-bedroom studio apartment.  This cozy space has a small living room with two comfy swivel chairs, a stocked kitchenette with stove, sink, toaster, and coffee maker, a bedroom off the living room, and a full bathroom with shower.
